theatre challenges

Three times per calendar year, we produce our very own ‘Theatre Challenges’. They run for 5 days, Monday to Friday, during the Easter and Summer holidays. Members will come and create an original piece of theatre in four days and on the fifth day they will perform the show in a professional theatre to their friends and family. It gets even better, you don’t have to pay a thing! All you need to do is provide lunch and snacks for during the day. Prior to the event we will ask for interested members to hand in a completed registration form, then your place is booked!

Our challenges tackle an array of current events all through the perspective of our members. The creative practitioners are on hand to facilitate and glue the show together, but it all starts from our members. Each show consists of a team from Drama, Dance and Music so all disciplines will take part. Everything is original, all from the imaginations of the young people of Harlow.
